Holy  friends, I am pleased to announce that BMIV has received a special jury mention at the Malaga Film Festival (Spain), an honor we did not expect and a double prize considering that yesterday was the oficial debut for the big screen. Stay tuned, the global release is coming soon!

Benditos amigos,  es un placer anunciar que BMIV ha recibido una mención especial del jurado en el Festival de Cine de Malaga. Un honor que no esperabamos y  un premio por partida doble, ya que ayer fue el estreno oficial en pantalla grande de esta cuarta aventura. Atentos que pronto viene el lanzamiento oficial en sus pantallas más cercanas!

Laberinto Verde es un documental producido y dirigido por mis dos buenos amigos, Abel Kavanagh y Amaru Durand Mitre. Rodado durante varios meses entre Perú y Bolivia, el documental se adentra en el milenario mundo de la hoja de coca, recogiendo el testimonio de personas involucradas en el cultivo y consumo final de esta poderosa hoja, uno de los principales pilares de la cosmovisión andina y a su vez, materia prima de una droga que genera no pocos conflictos en occidente. Con una impresionante fotografía en diferentes locaciones andinas, Laberinto Verde es una honesta radiografía sobre una planta (como otras tantas) que intenta demostrarle al mundo que el problema es el hombre y no la naturaleza.  Más información en la web de Laberinto Verde.

Green Labyrinth is a documentary produced and directed by my two good friends, Abel Kavanagh and Amaru Durand Mitre. Shot over several months between Peru and Bolivia, the documentary goes into the ancient world of the coca leaf, collecting the testimony of people involved in the growing and consumption of this powerful plant, one of the main pillars of the Andean cosmovision and at same time, the raw material of a drug that generates quite a few conflicts in the West. With an stunning photography in various locations of the Andes, Green Labyrinth is an honest radiography on a plant (like many others) trying to show the world that the problem is man and not nature.
