De plato de fondo, la última entrega del simplemente genial y trastornado David OReally, chaval Ingles Irlandes que nunca deja de sorprender. Su cortometraje The External World está barriendo con los festivales alrededor del mundo, 17 minutos no aptos para todo espíritu pero más que recomendando para desconectar de este universo y conectar con el suyo. Y de postre, el trailer Las Palmas, un destornillante corto del sueco Johannes Nyholm, eccentrico autor del para algunos ya conocido PuppetBoy. Seaquence es un proyecto desarrollado por Gabriel Dunne, Daniel Massey y Ryan Alexander, con el apoyo de Gray Area Foundation for the Arts de San Francisco. Esta aplicación consiste en un cruce entre un secuenciador y Sea Monkeys vistos a través de un microscopio. Lo interesante de esta aplicación radica en la utilización de estas tiernas criaturas artificiales como pistas de secuencias, permitiendo la manipulación de la longitud de ondas, frecuencia, melodía, modulación, volumen, escalas y octavas. Seaquence is a project developed by Gabriel Dunne, Daniel Massey and Ryan Alexander, with the support of Gray Area Foundation for the Arts in San Francisco. This application is a cross between a sequencer and Sea Monkeys seen through a microscope. The interesting thing about this application is the use of these lovely creatures like as step sequencer, allowing the manipulation of waveforms, melody, pitch, volume, envelope,scales and octaves. Reconozco que llevo mucho tiempo enganchado a Google Earth, Moon y Mars. Además de todas las aplicaciones Google que ya son parte de nuestro uso diario, Google Earth a revolucionado la forma de ver nuestro planeta, la luna y nuestro idolatrado planeta de repuesto. Pues ahora Google a vuelto a hacerlo (esta vez sin ir tan lejos) con Google Body Browser, una aplicación recien salida del horno desde Google Labs que sin duda se transformará en una gran heramienta para médicos, estudiantes e hipocondríacos de todo el mundo. Aquí les dejo un video de su funcionamiento, de momento sólo funciona en versión señorita y con la última versión de Chrome o Firefox. Acabo de instalarlo en mi ordenador y funciona de maravillas.

Today, Google did it again, (this time without going so far) with Google Browser Body, an fresh out application from the Google Labs oven, that undoubtedly will become a great tool for doctors, students and hypochondriacs worldwide.
